The Sarasota Medieval Fair is excited to announce a triumphant return to Sarasota! The festival is returning with great new location and great new dates! The festival will be held at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds (3000 Ringling Blvd; Sarasota, FL 34237) and will be held for two full weekends November 15-16 & 22-23, 2008 from 10am to 6pm rain or shine!
Experience 10th Century England, with two full weekends of family entertainment & amusement, on 14 stages holding over 80 performances daily! Featured performances include the Full-Armored Full-Contact Jousting Tournament, and the Human Combat Chess Match performance!
This year’s November festival will feature a list of New national Entertainment Acts, Construction & Development plans, a New FALL 2008 Viking Theme, a Sherwood Forest Trail, an additional Food Court, a Children’s Realm, PLUS, two new English Inn’s featuring beer, fine wine, entertainment, & everyone’s favorite mead, AND so much more!
