The Sarasota Medieval Fair is looking for performers to participate in the upcoming season. We provide training and an experience of a lifetime! No previous experience necessary. The festival is looking for men and women of all ages. Experience not required - we want fun, energetic people who have always said, "I'd like to do this one day!"
2008 Audition Information:
When: Sunday, January 27, 2008
Time: Starts at exactly 11:00am ~ 3:00pm
Where: Sarasota County Fairgrounds - 3000 Ringling Blvd; Sarasota, FL 34237 - (Turn in down the road the Boy's Club is on, & drive towards the end . On the right, you'll see the festival site within the fence)
* Bring drinks and a lunch. Costume is encouraged, but business casual is another option. Come prepared to have fun!

The Sarasota Medieval Fair is excited to announce a triumphant return to Sarasota! The festival is returning with great new location and great new dates! The festival will be held at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds (3000 Ringling Blvd; Sarasota, FL 34237) and will be held one weekend only on April 5-6, 2008 from 10am to 6pm rain or shine!
This year's exciting new festival will feature over 14 international and nationally renowned entertainment groups, 225 entertainers, 100+ themed vendors and food vendors, exotic animal encounters such as Elephants Rides and Tiger Exhibits, a Free Children's Activity Center, new exciting themed rides/games, music, four new large wooden stages, three food courts, two new English Pubs featuring beer, fine wine, entertainment, & everyone’s favorite mead, Plus so much more!
Hundreds of costumed performers will lead you into continuous laughter and drama on 12 entertainment arenas holding over 75 performances daily. Featured performances include the Full-Armored Full-Contact Jousting Tournament, and the Human Combat Chess Match performance!
Come one and all to one weekend only of tournaments, feasts, & performances! |
