Knights of Valour

AS SEEN ON THE HISTORY CHANNEL!  Shane Adams leads the "Knights of Valour" on an entertainment event of epic proportion. Watch and enjoy as you are thrilled by exhibitions of horsemanship with mounted games competition,  and the climax will be a full heavy armor jousting tournament. Watch as some of North America’s best full contact jousters compete for the title of champion.  All jousting at this event is real; un-choreographed, and done by trained professional athletes.  No scripts, No Choreography, and No Air Bags!  Family Friendly!

Human Combat Chess - Unique to this year's French vs. English scenario at the Siege of Chateau de Chalus-Chabrol!

When: All Three Weekends!
Where: Chess Field

An action packed performance using live actors as chess pieces retelling historical battles! Watch the English battle their rebellious French vassals at the Siege of Chateau de Chalus-Chabrol. Cheer on King Richard the Lionheart as he contents with his mutinous French Nobles, Aymer count of Angouleme, and Aimar, viscount of Limoges. Only one will prevail, choose your side wisely!  PG-13

Puke & Snot - NEW

Mark Sieve, John Gamoke. One of the longest running and most successful acts in the history of renaissance festivals. Intense wit, flashy swordfights, and organic vegetables: the laughs come in waves, often at racetrack speed. Their comedy owes as much to Abbott and Costello as it does to Avon’s Bard. A gallant romp of hysterical fun. 

Washing Well Wenches

Who would think women washing clothes could be hilarious? These outrageous wenches will wash away your blues while they wring laughs from the entire audience. If you are in the front row, watch out! Rated PG-13

Cu Dubh

Where: Castle Stage

Cu Dubh (Koo-Doo) is a lively bagpipe and tribal drum band that mixes eastern instrumentation and dance rhythms. Playing invigorating compositions on thundering Turkish war drums and Highland Bagpipes, they have carved a unique sound that will have young and old alike dancing in the aisles. Family Friendly!

Draiku Aerial Show - NEW

Welcome to the world of Draiku: watch two beautiful woman defy gravity as they climb thirty feet into the sky, using only their strength and grace, to perform aerial contortion and dance.  Meet their twenty-five foot pet dragon, Charming, as he serpentines through the lanes. Draiku is a world of enchantment where dreams fly.

Topsy Turvy

Ragamuffin sisters showcase circus toys, people stacking, and particularly silly humor. Whether they are teetering on stilted tip-toe or just standing on each other, these lovelies embody sibling rivalry at its finest. Family friendly!

The Craic Show

Hi-energy Medieval Pipe and Drum Show with musical instruments crafted from instruments of war! An intense & wildly entertaining act, made up of four international travelers who were banded together on an ancient battlefield. This unique merging of music from far away lands brings a sound that is unlike any other. The CRAIC Show is always bringing a fresh, high energy blend of World Medieval Music. Family Friendly!

St. Nikolaus Celebration

The festivities conclude as thoughts turn to Christmas on our Final Weekend! Visit Father Christmas in our Kid's Realm! Our young guests may just receive a free gift from St. Nick!

Come enjoy the free activities and performances planned for the children of the realm. Children can do all kinds of activities continuously throughout the day. Plus, there will be an assortment of performances put on by the cast of the Sarasota Medieval Fair. They are sure to entertain & maybe even educate our young Guests on the history of the past. Blue Skye Pipes and Drums - NEW

Local performance band Blue Skye Pipes and Drums is fast becoming a favorite in the southwest Florida community, and area known for its impressive Scottish heritage. The band, named for the magical Isle of Skye, is comprised of a group of extremely talented female members who play an assortment of traditional and modern music with a decidedly highland flair! Performing on bagpipe, drum, whistle, violin and harp, these musicians are all former or active competitors and recognized award winners throughout the southwest Florida highland music community.  Family Friendly!

Bones Medieval Mysteries: Magic from the Furthest Corners of the World

Captain Thalia - NEW

Captain Thalia brings bagpipe, whistles, flutes, and her own gullet to rouse folks of all ages to dance to her Celtic/Medieval music.  Play along with fruit salad shakers from the Captain's own hold.

Irish Dance Academy of Sarasota

Special Engagement for one day only: Nov. 20 Only.  Irish Dance Academy of Sarasota was established in 2009 by Gillian McCormack-Aeppli TCRG, who has a passion sharing her Irish heritage and passing along the gift of dance. HUN Archers - NEW

The HUN Archers are a Sarasota based Archery team made up of Hungarians with the love of their Culture and Heritage. Demonstrating archery techniques and art forms of the Ancient HUNs. The team has also incorporated younger members onto the team to adhere to their motto: "Keeping the Tradition Alive" for generations to come. Hajra Hun Archers!  Family Friendly!
