Royal Hand of Excellence Awards

As you walk around the fair, you will see we have great vendors joining us this year with very unique, unusual and one of a kind items. For the first time ever, the Sarasota Medieval Fair is acknowledging the "best of the best" of our wonderful artisans with our "Royal Hand of Excellence Award.” Look for the purple hand holding the gold crown either hanging outside their booth or to the right of their booth on a stake. These artists have been chosen for this award because all of their items have been handcrafted by them in their home studios. It is an honor to be awarded this plaque, so take a moment to appreciate their creativity, talent and dedication and let them know how much you love their art and passion. And remember, handcrafted items make wonderful Christmas gifts.

Demonstrators

For those among our list of talented artisans who are demonstrating this year, you will also notice a “demonstrator” sign located on their “Royal Hand of Excellence Award” either hanging outside their booth or to the right of their booth on a stake. Demonstrations include blacksmithing, pottery, & basket weaving!
